Personal data protection notice

This notice describes Hermes Vize's ("the Company") approach to the privacy and protection of personal data. Hermes Vize acts as the data controller and is committed to protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, in particular the right to privacy protected under Article 20 of the Turkish Constitution and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

I. Who is the data controller?

Hermes Vize is the data controller for personal data processed in the context of visa, residence permit, work permit and citizenship consulting services offered to individuals and corporate clients.

II. What personal data do we process?

Depending on the service requested we may process identity data (name, date of birth, ID/passport information), contact data (phone, email, address), professional and financial data required for consular applications, travel history, and any additional documents you provide as part of your application file.

III. Purposes of processing

Your personal data is processed to evaluate your consulting request, prepare and submit application files to the relevant consulates or authorities, communicate with you throughout the process, fulfil our contractual obligations and comply with applicable legal requirements.

IV. Data transfers

To the extent necessary for the requested service, your personal data may be shared with consulates, embassies, translation and notary offices, courier providers, and authorised public authorities. Transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with KVKK and, where required, based on your explicit consent.

V. Your rights

As a data subject, under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information about the processing, learn the purposes and whether the data is used accordingly, know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction of data, and object to any decision made solely by automated means that produces an adverse outcome.
