Your fingerprint data (VIS record) for a Schengen visa is valid for 59 months (almost 5 years). If you have provided fingerprints for any Schengen country within the last 5 years, you may not need to provide them again for your new application. However, it may be requested again if there is a system issue or your data cannot be found.
