For business visas, the invitation must be written on the inviting company's letterhead, stating the purpose of travel, dates, and who will cover the expenses. For family visits, an approved 'Garantstellingsbewijs' (Proof of Sponsorship and/or Private Accommodation) obtained from the municipality in the Netherlands must be submitted.
