Is my transit visa automatically extended if my flight is canceled?

A canceled flight does not automatically extend transit visa validity or the permitted stay. First ask the airline about alternative flights and transfer arrangements. If there is a risk of exceeding the existing stay conditions, promptly seek guidance from the relevant Indian authorities. The appropriate notification or application procedure may depend on the circumstances.
