Can an accompanying relative travel on a Medical Visa?

The patient’s Medical Visa category may not be appropriate for someone travelling only as an attendant. Eligible accompanying persons may apply under a separate Medical Attendant category. The attendant’s application should be linked to the patient’s file, and current attendant conditions should be checked with the official authority.
