What should I do if my passport changes after applying?

Electronic authorisation is associated with the passport details supplied in the application. Check the current official instructions on using an existing authorisation after a passport change. Depending on the circumstances, carrying the old passport or submitting a new application may be relevant. Do not assume that a passport-number mismatch is immaterial without official guidance.
