Are visa and registration fees refunded if the conference is cancelled?

The official visa fee and the organiser's registration fee are governed by different conditions. Cancellation of the event does not automatically establish eligibility for a visa-fee refund. Check visa payment terms with the official application channel and registration terms with the organiser. If the purpose of travel changes, separately ask the competent authority whether the existing visa remains appropriate.
