Do I need a separate Greek transit visa if I already hold a Schengen visa?

A valid Schengen visa covering the journey generally removes the need for a separate Type A visa. If entering Greece, check territorial validity, dates, remaining entries and permitted stay. A single-entry visa already used may not cover a new entry on the return journey.
