Yes, if you have not provided your fingerprints for any Schengen country within the last 59 months (almost 5 years), you must provide your biometric data (fingerprints and digital photo) at the VFS Global application center. Those with a VIS (Visa Information System) record are generally not required to provide fingerprints again.
