Does a Bulgarian work permit allow employment elsewhere in Schengen?

Bulgarian work authorisation does not automatically permit employment in another Schengen country. A valid Type D visa or residence permit may allow short visits subject to the applicable conditions, but employment elsewhere is governed by that country’s rules.
