Current official instructions explain what must be submitted and how the procedure works. Buying a ferry ticket is not equivalent to making a visa application. A carrier’s operational guidance can be useful, but it does not replace official eligibility rules. Check passport, accommodation, return-travel and other evidence requirements before travelling, and verify current submission arrangements rather than relying on an earlier season.
